IEEE Computer Society Student Branch Celebrates Award at Florida West Coast Banquet
Four weeks ago, members of the IEEE Computer Society Student Branch Chapter at USF attended the IEEE Florida West Coast Section’s 2025 Banquet, and it was an unforgettable evening for our chapter.
🏆 Our Recognition
We were honored with the award “For Being a National Leader for Total Events and Hosting TechX Conference for 2 years”. This milestone marks the collective effort of our executive board and members, who have worked tirelessly to expand our presence on campus and beyond.
🌱 Looking Back
Over the past two years, our chapter has expanded in both scale and impact. From technical workshops to large-scale conferences, each initiative has been a step toward building a stronger, more connected student community.
✨ Highlights from the Evening
At the banquet, we had the chance to connect with professionals from the IEEE Florida West Coast Section and fellow student leaders from Florida Polytechnic University. Special thanks to Anzhelika Kurnikova (President), Elan Berezovskiy (Treasurer), and Cesar Calderon (Marketing Assistant) for representing our chapter and joining us for the evening!
💡 Moving Forward
This recognition motivates us to continue creating opportunities for students to learn, network, and innovate. We’re excited to see what new milestones await us as the school year continues.
